Chicago's own Tobi Lou gets personal on his stripped back single 'Orange'. On first listen Tobi Lou isn't what you might expect from an artist from Chicago but Lou is indicative of a new wave of artists making big moves in the American Midwest getting deeply introspective with lines like 'I'm happy yeah but most these days I be extra sad though' discussing the profoundly human urge to not let sadness get the better of you. Lou is clearly an artist who's comfortable in his own skin, and he should be considering he just premiered this song on Colors YouTube channel which gaining quick traction.
